About the Event
Since 2001, MCJCF has endeavored to bring positive attention to the Fort Bend County Community while
celebrating the Emancipation Proclamation. During these years, we have:
grown to be one of the largest celebrations of its kind in America. (five days of events),
awarded over $200,000 in scholarships to deserving Fort Bend County students,
showcased some of the Nation's/State's most prominent leaders, and
routinely contributed and participated in Fort Bend County’s community projects.
